Tips for Buying Books Come early: we might have only one or two copies of the books you want Check many. the books are priced by various students. some have more markings, some are cheaper. choose the best book for you. Bring money. we accept cash or check (travellers' checks too), no credit/debit cards. We hold books. you can leave 'em at the counter till 5pm. run and get money. Make sure you want a book before you buy it. we accept no returns, exchanges. Check price. sometimes (not too often) people charge more for a book than the original price. don't buy 'em and please let us know of the book. Have booklists (that we don't)? come and share. we'll both benefit. Check editions. Check editions of all your books before you purchase them - sometimes professors care and sometimes they don't.
